The full evening, with the lights on
This is the cruise people picture when they picture dinner on the Seine. You board at eight, the city switches on while you eat, and the Eiffel Tower sparkles on the hour as you come back alongside it at eleven.
The 8:30 pm sailing takes the long black route — the same one as the festive cruises — running east beyond Île Saint-Louis before turning for home. That extra hour of river is why the evening lasts 2 hr 30 min, and why a duo plays live in the dining room throughout.
The menu is longer too: a fourth starter and a beef tournedos main appear, and from Privilège upwards a cheese course matured by the boat's Maître Fromager and petits fours with the coffee.

Boats leave on the dot and cannot wait. Security checks all bags at the entrance; large luggage and suitcases are not accepted, and there is no left-luggage service.
Think dinner in a Paris restaurant. Shorts, sportswear, beachwear and flip-flops are not permitted in the dining rooms. Evenings on the water get cool — bring a layer.

The operator's own paid car park has very few spaces and gives priority to coaches, so use the public car park under the Quai Branly museum.

No. You choose at the table from the menu shown above — except desserts, which the crew asks you to pick at the start of the meal so the Lenôtre pastry team can plate them in time.

Very. The €40 children's rate (4–11 years) applies to the Étoile service, and infants under 4 travel free on a parent's lap. Highchairs are available if you ask at checkout.
If you are bringing young children, the 6:15 pm sailing is the easier of the two — you are back on the quay by 7:30 pm.
